Carissa is a people leader and storyteller born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. After graduating top of her class from Columbia College Chicago’s film program, she moved to LA and got a job in the Tour Department at Warner Brothers. She spent a year and a half in tours, working her way up from ticket girl to tour guide. She then secured a coveted spot in Studio Operations as a clerk, where she became indispensable. After three years of working her butt off, she was promoted to management, and eventually senior management. She coordinated production for shows such as “Lucifer”, “The Rookie”,  “You”, & "Friends: The Reunion". On top of working a demanding full time job, she has wrote, directed and produced her own content. In 2018, she released a short thriller titled “In Flames'' that successfully ran in a series of festivals. Amidst a pandemic, she completed and released a five episode comedic web series titled “(un)sociable”.
